About Split PDF
Split PDF divides a multi-page document into separate files using a visual page grid. Select which pages go into each output, or split every page into its own PDF — all in your browser with no upload required.
Common use cases include splitting a large contract into individual sections, separating scanned pages into per-recipient files, or extracting a single chapter from a combined report. The page grid makes it easy to see exactly what you are splitting.
The tool runs on pdf-lib and Mozilla PDF.js inside a Web Worker, so the interface stays smooth even with large documents. Each split produces a valid standalone PDF with preserved fonts, images, and vector content.
Because processing is entirely local, Split PDF is safe for confidential documents — legal filings, medical records, financial statements — where uploading to a cloud service is not acceptable.
